IdRef for end-users

3.1. The contribution to the quality of data

ABES relies on interested users to contribute to the accuracy and correction of data displayed on the site IdRef. This achievement opens the door to the so-called "crowdsourcing" in the production of metadata. This approach fits naturally into the development of IdRef, which aims to expose the authority data without restriction.

Therefore, we created the form “Request for data improvement”.

By improving the data present in the records, anyone can contribute to the optimization of the functions of documentary searches, as well as to a better accreditation of publications to their authors.

Within the limits of literary data placed in our catalogues, you can suggest enrichments using the form below. Your suggestion will be treated by the library that created the record concerned.
