In cataloguing, the 5XX block enables users to set up links with other authority records.

In the modification mode, the "Complete the record" block enables users to insert the 5XX champ which then produces the following fields:

If the PPN is unknown, the orange arrow returns users to the search window.

Results are also displayed with the same orange arrow which can be used to obtain the PPN of the linked record in the above field.

A click on the orange arrow enriches the record being modified (kept on the "Record" tab) with the PPN of the record which needs to be linked to it.
